Pneumatic Conveying System is the system which conveys powder/pellets through the pipe (conveying pipe) by utilizing the flow of media gas such as air. There are mainly 4 kinds of Flow Pattern such as Plug Flow, Dune flow, Layer Flow (dilute phase system) and Suspension Flow (dilute phase system), when we classify Pneumatic conveying System by considering the flow pattern of powder/pellets.

Layer Flow Dilute Phase Conveying System

The Floating Flow conveying : Powder/pellets moves taking a floating. This is one of Dilute phase Conveying System. Layer Flow : The gas velocity inside of pipe is comparatively low(middle) and collected powder/pellets at the bottom of conveying pipe.

Dune Flow Dense Phase Conveying System

The Dune Flow conveying is high density conveying system that powder/pellets moves while makingslug movement with group style form like a sand dune at the bottom of conveying pipe.

Suspension (dispersion) Flow Dilute Phase Conveying System

The Floating Flow conveying : Powder/pellets move taking a floating. This is one of Dilute phase Conveying System. Suspension Flow : The gas velocity inside conveying pipe is fast and powder/pellets move with floating.

Classifier is the equipment which classifies the products(pellet, etc) and classified stuff(powder, miss-cut and streamer, atc) . Cyclone is the equipment which separates the products and the gas.

Level Sensor
